Cancel Adobe subscription without early termination fee

The poster used ChatGPT's suggested wording in a support chat, asking about the earliest cancellation date, fees and access end, to cancel Adobe Creative Cloud without a penalty.

What They Did
The poster asked ChatGPT to handle Adobe support after both they and ChatGPT could not find a cancel button. In the chat, ChatGPT repeatedly asked Adobe to confirm the earliest cancellation date, any fee, when access would end, and the cost of letting the plan expire, while insisting Adobe not process a charge until those options were clear; the human only approved starting the chat and sent the final thank-you.
How It Went
Adobe first quoted an early termination fee of AUD 394.99 including tax, then granted a one-time waiver and canceled the single license. The post says access would stay active until 31 October 2026, with no further subscription or renewal charges.
Worth Knowing
The useful catch was to keep asking for the cancellation date, fee, access end date, and comparison with letting auto-renewal stay off before agreeing to any charge.
Try it yourself with ChatGPT

I want to cancel my [Adobe Creative Cloud or other subscription] plan, which is [monthly / annual billed monthly / annual prepaid] and renewed on [date]. Write a short message for the company's support chat asking for the earliest date I can cancel without penalty, any fees that would apply, and when my access would end. Also give me two follow-up replies in case they offer a discount or say a fee applies, so I can decline politely, and remind me to get the cancellation terms in writing before I confirm.
