Privacy Policy

The short version

SkillShop has no accounts and no sign-in, so we don't collect names, emails, or passwords — there is nothing to sign up with. We do keep anonymous usage statistics so we know which skills people actually use.

What we collect

• Anonymous usage stats. When you view a skill or click a link, our server records an anonymous count (which page, when). No IP addresses are stored with these counts longer than needed for abuse prevention.
• Search queries. Searches you type in the directory are logged as plain text so we know what skills to build next. They are not tied to an identity — there isn't one.
• Theme preference. If you toggle dark mode, your browser stores that choice locally (ss-theme in localStorage). It never leaves your device.

What we don't collect

No accounts, no emails, no names, no payment details on this site. Downloads are direct — nothing to register for.

Third parties

• Cloudflare hosts this site and may set strictly-necessary security cookies.
• Skillry links include our affiliate code (?via=wishom); if you buy there, Skillry's own privacy policy applies and we may earn a commission.
• GitHub links go to public repositories under their owners' policies.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.
