WebSocket LED Control
Lighting · Board: Pi Pico · Day 31 of 100
Toggle an LED from a web page with real-time WebSocket updates on the Pico W. Bidirectional browser-to-board communication.

How it works
After a normal HTTP handshake, the connection upgrades to a WebSocket that stays open in both directions. Tapping the page's button pushes a message instantly to the Pico W — no refresh, no polling delay — and the LED responds in near real time.
What you'll learn
- WebSocket protocol
- Persistent connections
- HTTP vs WebSocket tradeoffs
- Real-time browser control
