Smart Cooling System
Smart Home · Board: ESP8266 · Day 45 of 100
An ESP8266 spins up a fan automatically when the DHT11 reports heat. Closed-loop temperature control.

How it works
The ESP8266 reads temperature from the DHT11 on a schedule and compares it to a setpoint. Above the setpoint it energizes the relay and the fan spins; below it, everything rests. A textbook closed control loop: sense, decide, actuate, repeat.
What you'll learn
- Closed-loop control
- Temperature setpoints
- Relay-driven appliances
- Hysteresis in control loops
