OTA Firmware Update
Cloud · Board: Pi Pico · Day 61 of 100
Push new firmware to a Pico 2W over the air straight from GitHub. Update devices without touching them.

How it works
The Pico 2W downloads a new firmware file straight from a GitHub release over Wi-Fi, verifies it, writes it to flash, and reboots into the new version. Devices update themselves in the field — no USB cable, no physical access, no excuses for stale firmware.
What you'll learn
- Over-the-air update flow
- Firmware verification
- Remote device management
- GitHub as update server
