Joke Fetcher
Cloud · Board: ESP32 · Day 96 of 100
An ESP32 pulls a fresh joke from the JokeAPI over HTTP. REST APIs on a microcontroller, with punchlines.

How it works
The ESP32 makes an HTTP GET to the JokeAPI, parses the JSON response, and shows the punchline. It is the friendliest possible introduction to REST APIs on a microcontroller — real network code, with laughter as the test output.
What you'll learn
- REST API consumption
- JSON parsing on MCU
- HTTP client patterns
- API-driven projects
