Hotspot Setup
Wireless · Board: ESP32 · Day 23 of 100
Configure the ESP32 as its own Wi-Fi access point for direct device connections. The networking building block behind captive portals and offline control.

How it works
The ESP32 switches its Wi-Fi radio into access-point mode and starts broadcasting its own network name. Other devices can join it directly and reach the board's web pages without any home router in the middle. It is the foundation for offline control panels and captive portals.
What you'll learn
- Wi-Fi AP vs station mode
- On-device DHCP
- Router-free networking
- Captive portal concept
