Adafruit IO LED Control
Lighting · Board: Pi Pico · Day 83 of 100
Toggle an LED from Adafruit IO's cloud dashboard over MQTT on the Pico 2W. Classic MQTT pub-sub in action.

How it works
Toggling a dashboard button on Adafruit IO publishes an MQTT message; the Pico 2W, subscribed to that feed, receives it and flips the LED. It is the canonical publish-subscribe loop — and the pattern behind nearly every cloud-controlled device you will ever build.
What you'll learn
- MQTT publish/subscribe
- Adafruit IO feeds
- Cloud-to-device messaging
- Topic-based architecture
