Work & OperationsDone with Claude in Chrome
Schedule meetings, tidy Drive and log reward balances
Claude in Chrome drafted meeting-slot emails from Calendar, sorted 900 Drive files into folders and removed about 50 duplicates, and replayed a recorded reward-balance workflow into a spreadsheet.
- What They Did
- The writer installed the Claude in Chrome extension and granted it broad access to their browsing. For meetings, Claude read Google Calendar and drafted an email proposing open slots. For Drive, it sorted loose files into folders and set aside files it was unsure about. For rewards, the writer recorded themselves checking reward programs and logging results in a spreadsheet, then asked Claude to run that workflow.
- How It Went
- Drive went from close to 900 loose files to six top folders with subfolders, and nearly 50 duplicates were removed. The reward workflow ran with only a couple of password errors, and Claude offered to make it monthly.
- Worth Knowing
- Recorded workflows involve passwords and broad account access, and Anthropic advises against using the automated version for tasks like banking.
Try it yourself with Claude in Chrome
Check my Google Calendar for open slots over [next two weeks] and draft emails to [names] offering [3] meeting times, but don't send them until I've reviewed each draft. Then look through my Google Drive folder [folder name], sort the files into sensible folders, and list any duplicates for me to approve before anything is removed. Finish with a short summary of what you changed.
