Meta's Muse agent found over $1,500 in unclaimed funds in about five minutes and helped fill out paperwork; the claim was filed but unpaid.
- What They Did
- Nick Grous, an investment analyst at ARK Invest, asked Meta's Muse agent to search the internet for money that might belong to him. Muse returned a list of unclaimed property and funds under his name and helped complete much of the paperwork. Grous then filed the official claim himself.
- How It Went
- Muse found more than $1,500 in about five minutes. Grous had not received any money when the article ran, because government offices still have to verify and approve the claim.
- Worth Knowing
- Approval isn't guaranteed. You still verify and submit the claim yourself, and Muse asks permission before sensitive actions such as sending email. Muse was US-only at launch.
