Find and buy a same-day-delivery fern as a gift
In Agent mode the author had ChatGPT search local plant shops and fill the checkout form, stopping for him to click buy, then reported the order with tracking.
- What They Did
- The author switched ChatGPT into Agent mode and asked it to find and buy a decent fern under $30, with same-day delivery if possible. The agent searched plant shops in his city, chose the best options, and filled in the checkout and payment forms. It then paused so he could click buy himself.
- How It Went
- It took only minutes. After he clicked buy, the agent confirmed the order was placed and said a tracking number had been emailed to him. The article gives no price or delivery details.
- Worth Knowing
- The agent handled the payment form but still stopped for the user's own click on buy, so expect to stay present for the final purchase step.

Find local shops near [city or zip] that offer same-day delivery of [gift item, e.g. a fern] to [recipient address], and pick a good option under $[budget]. Fill in the checkout form with my details and the gift message '[message]', then stop and show me the order summary and total before clicking buy. After I approve, place the order and report the confirmation and tracking info.
