# Seven Segment Display

Day 4 of the 100 Days 100 IoT Projects collection. Board: Pi Pico.

Drive a single-digit 7-segment display with a Raspberry Pi Pico to count and show numbers. Covers GPIO wiring and segment mapping basics.

## How it works

Each digit 0–9 maps to a pattern of seven segments that must light up. The Pico drives one GPIO pin per segment, turning the right combination on for each number. Counting becomes a loop of look up pattern, set pins, brief pause.

## What you'll learn

- 7-segment encoding
- GPIO output control
- Lookup tables
- Current-limiting resistors
