# LED Matrix Clock

Day 58 of the 100 Days 100 IoT Projects collection. Board: ESP32.

An ESP32 keeps a MAX7219 LED matrix showing internet-synced time via NTP. A glowing wall clock with zero drift.

## How it works

The ESP32 pulls the current time from an NTP server, formats hours and minutes, and scrolls them across the MAX7219 LED matrix. Internet timekeeping means the clock never drifts and never needs setting — it just glows correctly, forever.

## What you'll learn

- Large-format time display
- NTP plus SPI combined
- Scrolling text rendering
- Zero-drift clocks
